What are the pictures worth?

I am an avid photographer with 2 years of high school photography under my belt, and possibly a third year next year. I take black and white film photos for the school and really have lots of digital photos of art. I can develop and print my own 8x10 black & white, sepia tone or blue few, and very few hand-colored. A small local "art show" that lets students 8x10 matted prints sell for $ 18, plus if altered (such as tones or color). Would you pay $ 18 for a photo? More? Less? What are photographs worth to you? I do not mean as snapshots on vacation or family photos, but like the photos it takes to be art. Would you buy a print online (Like Etsy or Ebay)? If so, would pay less online than you would in person? I just want to get an idea of how people feel about the photos. I can sell mine on Etsy.com, but I do not know how much of a market out there.

If I liked it, I absolutely would pay $ 18 for a pleasant impression. Look on eBay, Craigslist, and a dozen other places online. Some people make a side income, just selling photos ... Good luck!
