Emerging American artist Ian Monroe must consider himself very lucky. "It was all from the Hall of master in the goldsmith. Normally, a lot of galleries go to these things, which take place during the summer. They (galleries) all trawl around what is new talent, so to speak. There were some calls from other people and organized a study tour. Lotta (hammer), came by, saw my work and said, 'Well, I'm putting together a show in a few months. If you can do something about it, that would be great. "
