Several years ago, I reviewed thousands of martial artists on whether they were wearing their uniforms in public or martial arts shirts bearing the school logo. He asked if people to maintain their skills knowledge of a secret or "was his skill in the hole."

A large percentage of professionals, said it would not use school shirt (with logo of martial arts) or a decorative martial arts t-shirt, because "it would" let everyone know they have martial skills.

But we go beyond irony ....

A guy had a tattoo of a good fist in front of a symbol of yin and yang. I had the chance to ask him if he was in Tae Kwon Do. "No," he replied. "I used to do TKD. For a while I did some Aikido. But I have not practiced anything like that in years."

And that got me thinking about tattoos and martial arts ... again.

Poor guy.

My wife often asked high school students, "Would you like to have the same piece of wall art in your life?"

I guess this is an instance of a time when man would at the fair said, "Uh, no ... uh ... I guess.

Note: I know that a tattoo can be part of your personality. Is how are described and recognized by others. "You know, she's the one with the Ren and Stimpy tattoo on her ankle." (Who knew that Ren and Stimpy is never passe?)

When you see certain tattoos or tattoos in general, another person, what kind of response does not rely on you? Do you have any particular emotions? (The fear, admiration, disgust?)

From now on, think about body art and jewelry to provide potential clues - knowing you could use to stay safe. Remember, they are potential indicators only ... think of the guy at the fair.

I am looking for a tattoo artist Portland Oregon that's good or specialized in portrait tattoos. I want to get one for my sister who died a ago.Ive years wanted one for a while, but finally I have time to get one, and I can not seem to find a good portrait artist. Go to Ann in Tattoo Adorn in Beaverton. She does a great portraits.I my wife on my shoulder and she did an awesome job. It loves his job and makes the time passes quickly.
