Independent Artists Music
Would you rather buy commercial music or music from an independent artist?
Assume, for the sake of this question, that you heard a commercial song on the radio 10 times (and liked it), and you could buy it from an online service for $1.00. Assume you were told about an indie artist's song by 10 friends, you heard it once and liked it, and you could buy it direct from the artist for $1.00. Finally, assume you only have $1.00 and you've decided to spend it on a song. Which would you buy for $1.00, and why?
I'd buy whichever song I liked better. Either way I'm spending my $1.00 so it doesn't really matter to me where it goes after that. If I liked the commercial song better than the indie song, I wouldn't buy the indie song just for the sake of it being indie. That would be silly.
