How would a teen not a free radio station online?
Hi, I'm a teenager looking for a way my friends and I can contribute to the community for having a local radio station. I am very responsible and I am aware of the responsibilities that I face it with regard to the station radio. But to get to the point, I would like an online radio station is not that anyone is free or very cheap. Also, does anyone know what the rules on playing music on the radio? (For example, artists like Pearl Jam play, Kelly Clarkson, etc) Thank you all so much! You really help my community and me. I really appreciate it! Amores, Libraries
FCC has a special category for low-power stations. I think the signal is so weak that only reaches a few blocks away, probably less than a mile. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=low+power+radio+fcc I have to pay a fixed fee per month for the selection unlimited songs copyrighted. You can then simultaneously on the web. http://www.fcc.gov/mb/audio/lpfm/index.html think there is a form of "broadcast" through the electrical system for a few blocks, using your house wiring as an antenna. I have to feed the signal to one side of your electrical outlet through a small, but sufficiently high voltage capacitor. Find a support group for low-power FM operators. Good luck, - CarlD
