Remove iTunes Duplicate Songs – Fix Misspelled Songs!

My iTunes is filled with so many different singers, bands and musicians songs/albums! One of my favorite musicians ever is Moby and I have most of his music that's been released in my iTunes. A total of 449 tracks by him in my iTunes! I've been listening and collecting his music for almost 20 years now since 1991. The unfortunate thing is though I have many duplicates of his music tracks in my iTunes which kind of gets annoying after a while because I have a smart playlist of his songs in my iTunes and when I play that smart playlist I get so many of his tracks repeat! I have a total of 449 of his songs in my iTunes.

Moby is not the only artist I have in my iTunes. I have a huge library of music in my iTunes – almost 150K mp3s and have many favorite bands. I have so many duplicate songs from so many different bands.s

This problem occurs because you buy everything your favorite bands release and you import them all in your iTunes and then you end up with not only 1 or 2 duplicates but you can end up with 3, 4, 5 and 6 duplicates of one song. That's annoying. Multiply that with let's say 100 of your favorite bands then that's like 200 - 600 extra songs! Ouch! You can make room for new music if you remove them.

The problem here is I don't want to go through and figure out what duplicates I have in my iTunes by hand. I want to get it done automatically. I don't have time to sit and sift through duplicate songs in iTunes. I need to find an Automatic Software Program, which will do the duplicate song removal for me!

Well I downloaded the SOFTWARE PROGRAM that does the fixes automatically and installed it and started running it to fix just my Moby songs in my smart playlist. The song "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad" is in my iTunes music library seven times. That's 6 extra duplicates of that song. I don't need to have in my iTunes. And that's just the beginning of the duplicates from Moby. "Whispering Wind", 2 extra copies, "We Are All Made Of Stars", 2 extra copies and so on. I specifically tested out the software on my Moby songs in my Moby smart playlist and it did wonders. The program removed the duplicates and now I have a total of 263 Moby songs in my iTunes and not 449. That's 186 less songs in my iTunes. I opened up approximately 560 megabytes of space for new music.

The software program also fixed misspelled songs in my Moby music collection in my iTunes. There were things like Moby was listed in the song name and Porcelain was listed in the artist name. It switches those and corrects them. This makes things better for your iTunes and fixes it perfectly! Then it adds great looking album cover artwork to your music too, all automatically. WOW this one rocks!!

What is the most convenient way to back up my iTunes/iPod?

1. How do I back-up my iTunes/iPod quickly? No CDs involved (I just put in my CDs and that took 5 days to do... not fun).

2. I have thousands of songs. I categorize my playlists by the band/artist. Whenever iTunes saves my playlists, they actually save them by artists/bands (so it's not how I organize it). Is there a way to get my exact playlists to save so that next time I get a computer, I don't have to go through a few hours of work to fix it the way that I want?
Sorry, I meant that I categorize my playlist by band or soundtrack (with different artists), and iTunes saves each artist as a different folder (so my soundtracks' songs get split up).

i would buy a massive hard drive then back everything up !
