Singing in the rain in Seattle

Seattle's popularity as one of the rainiest cities in the country has no real justification. With annual rainfall thirty-eight inches, the Emerald City is actually forty-three American cities, including New York, where forty seven inches of rain on average each year. But while New York City of days of rain have more than their fair share of the heavy rains, the rainfall in Seattle tend to take the form drizzle fetched.

Fortunately, Seattle residents and visitors travel this bustling metropolis as part of a large excursion of Northwest of America can still find plenty to do in the days of gray and rainy in Seattle. Topping my list of recommendations indoors is a stop on a Seattle Museum of the many first class. Here's a quick look at three of the main attractions of the city ranking:

1. Seattle Museum Air flight is the most impressive of the West Coast and Space Museum. In addition to more than fifty large aircraft, some flying in close formation Grand Gallery the museum, a new exhibit called Space: Exploring the new frontier is definitely worth a look. Launched on June 10, 2007, the exhibition chronicles the history space flight space rocket pioneer Robert Goddard to the Apollo lunar missions, the International Space Station and robotic landers on the Moon, Mars and other worlds. Open seven days a week from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas.

2. If popular music rocks your world, will definitely want to visit the $ 240 million Experience Music Project. Designed in part by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, the EMP is an absolutely unique, museum interactive music that tells the story often tumultuous and challenging American popular music. Located not far from downtown Seattle and the Space Needle, Experience Music Project is open every day during the summer season from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm

3. Another unique attraction of its kind in Seattle's Wing Luke Asian Museum. Given that immigrants from the Pacific played a crucial part in the development of the Pacific Northwest, Wing Luke focuses on the preservation and promotion of Asian Pacific American culture, history and art. The museum also has a permanent exhibition reminds us internment camps used to imprison Japanese Americans during World War II.

While Seattle is the rainiest city in the country, there are still many gray days in the future of the city. Fortunately, there are plenty of museums that can educate and entertain visitors on a rainy day in Seattle.
