Frasier (DVD) Review

Along with Friends and Seinfeld, Kelsey Grammar spin-off of Cheers, Frasier, dominated the landscape of television for the first time 1990. Grammar plays the role of Dr. Frasier Crane who, fresh after his divorce from Lilith, returns to his hometown of Seattle where he lands a gig as a radio psychiatrist. Frasier's father, Marty Crane (John Mahoney), a Seattle police recently shot in an attempted convenience store robbery is in need Physical therapy. Frasier and his brother Niles (David Hyde Pierce) make an effort to repair his relationship with Marty as plaid shirts and penchant for sports and beer does a dramatic contrast with their wine club, the opera house culture. After some insistence, Marty and his dog Eddie (Moose) move into the luxury apartment Frasier, Frasier and hires Daphne Moon (Jane Leeves), a housekeeper and physical therapist to care for the two cranes.

The entire program takes place in mostly three places - Frasier's radio station where he works with show producer Roz Doyle (Peri Gilpin), Frasier's apartment, and a favorite of Niles and Frasier, Café Nervosa. A witty comedic exploration of the nation's clash of cultures (also illustrated by Frasier's run-off-ins with sports Bob Bulldog Briscoe type), Frasier stands alone as one of the best writing in the history of television shows. Not a single episode can be considered a failure.

The Frasier DVD offers a series of amusing episodes as the series premiere of "The Good Son" in which the character of Dr. Frasier Crane returns to his hometown Seattle, Washington. A comfortable lifestyle with his bachelor's décor and high-profile radio show, Frasier gets a rude awakening when his brother Niles notes that Marty and his father can not live on their own due to a gunshot wound. Reluctantly, Frasier invites Marty to come live with him and the two eventually hire Daphne Moon as a housekeeper / physical therapist ... Other notable episodes include "The Crucible" Frasier "which makes a splendid dinner party to celebrate the new edition of his art collection only to learn from the artist herself that painting is a forgery, and "Giving the chair!" Frasier in trying to do a favor for Martin to throw his favorite chair, but Martin is completely mad, prompting Frasier to search all Seattle to retrieve the priceless heirloom ...

I have a couple of clown oil paintings signed Arno, does anyone know anything about them?

I have a couple of oil paintings of clowns (Happy), which are signed by Arno, was my mother in law and lived in Pasadena, and later in Seattle. Does anyone know anything about artist. We only have photos of clown, undated, which can view. Thanks PS just seen Roadshow antiques and had hoped!
