I wonder who is the country artist that sings this old cowboy hat?

I dont really know the song when it came out, but is played on country stations now but not a new song,

The late Chris LeDoux had a song called "The Cowboy Hat." And another called "Under this old hat." He has a kind of deep voice, a sort of sandy. "This cowboy hat" is a song of history it sounds a little sinister, about a cowboy getting harassed by a bicyclist and tell the story of what the hat with him. "Under this old hat" is just a kind of upbeat love song with a sort of Western Swing sound. Hope this helps. I like Chris LeDoux, Western Underground his CD was especially good. And he rodeo cowboy was a legitimate, unlike a lot of "pretend cowboy" country singers.
