La Perla Online Shop presents its new fall/winter collection
Bologna, 10.29.09. This season's current collections from La Perla are full of imagination and variety. The labels Malizia by La Perla and Joelle by La Perla have more surprises in store: Malizia by La Perla lets us discover the hidden imagery of flowers while the Joelle by La Perla nightwear collection offers lingerie for the first time.
La Perla: Atelier Couture
The new La Perla collection radiates an aristocratic flair. These precious items appear as treasures made by hand in a workshop for haute couture fashion. Noble tulle embroidery, fine satin, delicate silk, graceful macramé and the most exquisite lace indulge in the pleasure of opulent decor. Reserve is nevertheless in order: Noblesse oblige. Elegance is a matter of aesthetic and tasteful balance.
La Perla Glamour: Dolce Provence
„Dolce Provence“: from the most loveable corner of France comes the inspiration for the current La Perla Glamour collection. Fresh romance is in concert with charming retro-touches as in delicate tulle embroidery in combination with pleating. Leavers lace effuses a gentle air. Classic Scottish plaids are presented in unconventional soft pastels strewn with delicate flower petals.
Those who love lace must not do without fit and comfort: an extremely fine weave is combined with downy-soft cotton/Lycra.
In addition to classic black and red, natural pastels from cream to beige and dusky pink to wisteria and soft grey are also available.
La Perla Studio: Clear Design and Modernity
Functionality and the highest standards of elegant design unite in the La Perla Studio collection. A play of transparencies, colour contrast and distinctive black silhouettes create striking visual effects. The line-loving collection realises original ideas with particular sophistication.
The ultra-modern "bandage look" celebrates the handcraft tradition of haute couture. The highly elastic ribbons, stitched together by hand, nestle the body, enveloping it like a second skin.
Although light, natural and distinctly feminine with their refined workmanship, the items in the "Natural Instinct" line are made from innovative microfibres. The conceived transparencies and the lavishly crafted details like lustrous topstitching and premium edging and finishing are eye-catchers.
The colour palette is inspired from the most current shades of make-up: skin, vanilla, mocha, black.
La Perla Black Label: Cabaret
La Perla Black Label collection can be described as "ready for the stage"; for here, performance is everything. The combination of translucent tulle with opaque satin provokes a play of curtaining and unveiling while the arrangement of bows on the tantalising lingerie hints at deceptive naïveté.
The collection is inspired by cult-movie stars like Liza Minelli of Cabaret and Catherine Zeta-Jones of Chicago.
And raise the curtains for the sophisticated accessories that abet the feminine art of seduction: a cane and derby and as well as metallic suspenders and crystal-studded caps that conceal the nipples.
The lights go up and the show begins.
Malizia by La Perla: The Language of Flowers
With its "secret" language of flower imagery, the Malizia by La Perla collection expresses style and elegance. Orchid and wild rose motifs are embodied in delicate lace and camellia outlines generously grace the lingerie while a sea of poppy embroidery enchants the fine tulle.
The lace, already composed of enticing material, becomes even more irresistible with the indulgence in delicate flowers.
It is a question of personal preference which flower imagery one finds most appealing: the sensuality of the orchid, the sentimentality of the wild rose, the virtuosity of the camellia or the serenity of the poppy.
Joelle by La Perla: The Lady of the Sea
The cooler seasons will come. Joelle by La Perla indulges us with fluffy fleece robes and cuddly items with mohair, fur and fleece effect. Cosy mohair bed jackets are also essential for winter.
A secret fount of ideas for the collection is the image of the nocturnal guise of a lady. Rising from a lake, it projects upon the surface of the water like a vision of mystery and magic.
Joelle by La Perla Underwear Collection
For the first time, the Joelle by La Perla nightwear collection is complemented by a majestic line of underwear. The premium workmanship of the Joelle by La Perla collection is delivered in lace in a stylish homage to feminine beauty.
The typical combination of elegance and comfort is manifest also in the choice of materials: fine Leavers lace, jersey stretch, Sensitive Lycra and printed tulle.
