The scammers are on a roll again

Last week I received a message from the network of friends in which I am registered. It was a warning to stay out of a opportunity that might come my way. I had seen several of these "opportunities" before the web. The description my friend gave me I was not surprised.

The "deal" involved my sign up for free. Google AutoFill provide the bowels of my name and address lines. Whatever had to do was enter a user name and password. I elected not to go further.

Here's what would have happened. The employer would scam captured my name, address, city / state / zip code, email address, verify email address, user ID, password, verify password, home phone, work phone and cell phone. I would be classified as an "opt-lead you. Since I was registered as a member, everything would be free. I would not have to pay a dime to join.

However, only no fun being a normal member. Of course, I would get tons of information for my free subscription. Above all, get a campaign on the upgrade to Gold or Platinum. For $ 39.95 per month to upgrade to a Platinum member, I could now sign up other poor suckers your free subscription. I would like to get paid for each registration subsequently upgraded to Platinum. This would at least seven, perhaps ten levels deep. My God, my God, all my dreams would come true. Finally become a millionaire.
