For Artists
Paving the way for enhanced artistic vision from a distance
The prospect of an artist is a key that opens the door to a new world of understanding for spectators. Still Where does this perspective is novel?
While natural objects tend to inform the artists, some powerful artistic perspectives arise solely from the view of nature. In fact, until the 19th century saw the most serious artists painting or sculpture of nature with skepticism.
Spending time with artists has helped many to develop new perspectives. For the rich, which has always been possible to buy the lessons of the most important artists the day, which do not earn enough to make art to support themselves. Some art students traveled to Europe to get exposure. Without the need to earn a life, the artists rich could afford in any creative work inspired developed until something useful.
For the not so rich, schools often provide basic elements through the study of art produced by others and the development of fundamental skills such as drawing from live models. Since the Renaissance, the male artists often supported themselves by serving as assistants to established male artists. In the 19th century, women began to paint in large quantities, and many made a living by copying works of art from museums like the Louvre in Paris.
These routes worked well for those who were rich or knew they wanted to be artists early age. What could you do to others?
The options were limited. You had to earn a living and carve a little time to do what artists Young had already achieved by the time they were 22 or less. No experience in art, could not aspire to make a living teaching.
This was a Catch-22 classical problem (when you need what you do not have to get what you need) for aspiring adult artists with limited funds until the expanded online education the art world. With a computer you can travel the world from your room, see the great works of art reproduced, and listen to the works discussed by historians countless art. Art College conference took so long to show a bunch of slides in darkened rooms, while an art historian, said. The point of view on a computer screen often better than the back of a classroom full of people, overheated. You can also "visit" the leading historians art online without attending classes at the person who provides great flexibility for those with limited time to travel and study.
What does the future for artists who want to further inform their prospect? Online education provides an additional opportunity unprecedented.
Consider the If Ms. Raeda Ashour see how the changes are great. Ms. Ashour is from Saudi Arabia. Growing up, she still did not feel a call to build art. Instead, he was influenced by literature and the opportunity to learn English during their studies in Egypt. As an undergraduate at American University Cairo, he deepened his understanding of Middle Eastern culture through reading of Arabic literature.
In the process of its Middle East studies, that gained some exposure to Arabic art. He discovered that he liked to paint and regards this activity as a hobby. He also visited galleries and read about art.
After graduating from college, she could not obtain a work permit in Egypt and had to bide its time until it gained exposure to publication of books by friends. Finally, he founded a publishing company with two partners and especially enjoy designing book covers. His love of art also extended to making collages that friends wonder.
After seven years, the publishing business began losing money and was closed. Ms. Ashour was unsure what career to follow below.
Soon after, she married a Lebanese photographer who encouraged her to spend more time working on his art. Ms. Ashour held a solo exhibition in Cairo that was well received.
When the couple moved to Saudi Arabia, continued to focus on his art and soon built a following as one of the leading artists of Saudi Arabia. In the next twelve years, added a collector base through six and twenty solo exhibitions group exhibitions.
In 2005, Ms. Ashour found that wanted to expand his artistic vision and improve their perspective. By adding a solid arts education, which hopes to gain new knowledge that can apply to their work. He also realized that a title Masters could also help increase either his university teaching job or consultancy work with companies. The wildly fluctuating income of an artist independent can be stabilized through these activities. I also wanted to write about the potential for art to play a greater and more useful role in Saudi society.
How could she make such education while the prospect of living and painting in Saudi Arabia? The chances of an online education to meet their needs soon attracted his eye.
After considering the many online degree programs in art, she chose Rushmore University as his school. Why?
These were some of his reasons:
1. The possibility of designing a major commission.
2. We could begin classes immediately.
3. She could obtain credit for previous life experience.
4. Consideration could be as much as I wanted and accelerate their graduation date.
5. Because many college students had published their work that gave him confidence that his mastery of writing could also be published one day.
6. There were no exams.
7. Tuition fees are affordable for an artist.
After graduating in 2007 with a Master in Art Education, I asked Ms. Ashour to share some thoughts with me about their distance learning experiences. In general, described it this way learning as a rewarding step in expanding his artistic vision. She felt that performs several things, including:
1. To improve your knowledge on art and art education to help improve his career as an artist.
2. The recovery of his research and writing.
3. Improved credibility in the artistic community.
She also won the confidence on the publication of documents and the search for teaching jobs at the university level. She intends to continue their education through either special training or, possibly, earned a doctorate.
How is her career doing? A recent e-mail shares the good news that she is busy preparing work for two major solo shows in 2008.

How to store my original songs by leading artists?
I have some original material that artists leading industry would be perfect to perform. The only thing is that I'm not sure about how to shop for them. I did some research and read getting an editor, and even find an underground artist, and give the song to increase its popularity, but would like some further clarification. I write hip hop, and funky pop-pop-ideal material for bands and solo artists. Does anyone have any experience in this field?
If you are a new unpublished writer going through a publisher is your best option. If you are an established writer and contacts in the music business, you may be able to promote self-efficacy of his songs to artists and provide a percentage royalties from the publisher for the artist as an incentive to record his music. But as a new writer, you do not have the contacts and it is best to start over an editor that can effectively promote their work to artists. To clarify, by "the editor copyright, I mean the 50% who usually go to the publisher for his role in promoting their music and get "high". If you do not use an editor, self-publishing and can barter some of the 50% normally go to the publisher. So, you could propose to the artist who will give them maybe 15 or 20% of the royalties of "editor" if you record your song. But all that means being an established writer who has good contacts in the music industry. And even if it is established and self-publish, you are still using a managing editor of its paper collection of royalties, for that will give them 10%. So, realistically, there is no such thing as maintaining 100% since, as a self-published writer, is likely part of the same exchange the player and you will pay a percentage to a publisher for the collection service royalties. Conclusion: If you are a new writer, use an editor. They have the ability to promote your work far more effectively than you can on your own. It may seem difficult at first to accept royalties split 50/50 with an editor, but performing an important role. Writing music is the first step, but without effective promotion nobody will be able to hear and enjoy what we have to share.
