Could a classic-rock artist ever have a hit song (on the Billboard Hot 100) again?
Like Springsteen, U2, or the Rolling Stones? None of them have had a top ten hit on the chart in over a decade.
When was the last time such an artist hit the top 10? (Other than on a "specialized" chart such as Modern Rock.)
Vertigo only reached #31 on the "Hot 100".
well, aerosmith reached #1 in 1999 with I Don't Want To Miss A Thing, and reached #2 in 2002 with Jaded.
I think they can have another when they make their new cd, maybe next year.
well, to tell the truth a lot of artist can't get a hit because eeryday the people have worst taste.
