Singapore Florist - Flowers in literature
Welcome to my blog, this is an article by Flores Singapore.
Each distinguished writer has published about flowers and used them as symbols and similes in their work. Literature is the art form writing and writers, as artists understand the deep relationship between people and flowers. Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote "Flowers ... are a proud assertion that a outvalues ray of beauty all the utilities of the world. "Iris Murdoch said that" People from a planet without flowers would think we must be mad with joy all time to have such things about us. "
Flowers can convey the feeling of love, joy, beauty and strength, even this may come across as the literature of the flowers. The American playwright Tennessee Williams wrote "The violets in the mountains have broken the rocks." The strength and even tenancity flowers are produced in as little as violets. The metaphor is clear and poignant.
Flowers in poetry and literature can be used to print images in our minds. "Summer set lip to the naked breast of the earth, the footprint left empty in a poppy there." (Francis Thompson, "La Amapola") " When suddenly I saw a crowd, a host of golden daffodils; "(William Wordsworth:" I walked like a cloud Lonely ") You can see the flowers in your mind. These poems are famous and beloved images created in our brains.
Roses, in particular, have been the subject of many famous lines. "My luve is like a red, red rose "(Robert Burns)" A rose by any other name would smell as sweet "(William Shakespeare," Romeo and Juliet ")" is The Last Rose of Summer "is a poem by Thomas Moore on the transience of life. The story of the flowers is essential for many poems.
While writers and poets have used the symbolism of the flowers of many purposes, perhaps the best quotes are those that convey joy and hope. "Deep in their roots all flowers keep the light. "(Theodore Roethke)" Each flower is a soul blossoming in nature. "(Gerard De Nerval)
Flores, who used it as symbols or their own good, flowers evoke emotions and feelings in everyone who sees them. The flowers are symbols of happiness, hope and the continuation of life. Die in the winter and return each spring and always have. It is the ongoing renaissance gives people of all cultures within the meaning of eternity, the belief that everything that dies again born. Is the flowers are right, since prehistory, has always been presented as a gift to the dead.
The flowers have been exchanged as gifts of all times. They are a gift that can show emotions that people may not be able to articulate. The only reason someone needs to make a gift of flowers is the desire spread the joy. Luther Burbank noted "Flowers always make people better, happier and more useful, they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul." When you give flowers, you do not need words, flowers speak volumes.

OK this is also quite random, but whatever, I will ask for the hell of it. Tome the PSAT a few months ago and it had an excerpt from a biography of a female Asian artist. I do not remember his name (except that it sounded in Japanese) or actually what it was. I think she had been drawing a picture of a flower, and she had a mentor .. Something weird like that. Anyway, does anyone know any of Asia famous artists who sound like they could be the one I'm looking for? (Could have been a autobiograhy, not sure) I guess the story is odd, only those were the only details he remembered. You know what I wonder, "Vince," which feel the need to be a fool for no reason. If you does not have an answer, or an artist to suggest, just disappears. (:
What is "strange" about an Asian artist, with a mentor, the drawing of a flower?
