Lawren Harris was born on October 23, 1885, into a wealthy family in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. It was the most recognized face of the famous "Group of Seven" and " Canadian Group of Painters. "Lawrence was one of the two sons of his family. He began to pursue her passion for art at a very young age and showed early interest drawing, painting, and Christmas cards to relatives and family. family co-owns the Massey-Ferguson Farm Machinery Company in Toronto and therefore Lawren, he had to fight like other painters at the beginning of his career.

Harris first attended St. Andrew's University in Toronto, and from 1904 to 1907, studied in Berlin. He also traveled extensively in Austria, Italy, France, England, Damascus, Cairo and Jerusalem. On January 20, 1910, Harris married Beatrice Phillips and together they had three children. In 1934, the artist Beatriz divorced and married Phillips Housse Bess, who was then the wife of his friend FB Housse. Following of this new marriage, the family of Felipe threatened with charges of bigamy.

After returning to Europe, Lawren Harris worked as a magazine illustrator for a year and a half in Toronto. In 1920, he formed the famous Group of Seven "with the help of his friend JEH MacDonald. The artist developed a distinct style Canadian painting. Together, they financed the travel of artists from Canada on the north coast and the Algoma region. Lawrence had a style distinctly different from other painters of his era, where there was a great use of rich colors and decorative. In late 1920, Harris's work is more inclined to Abstract and painted over landscapes surrounding the North and Arctic region. The artist wandered and lived in various places throughout his life. In 1934, he moved from Toronto to Hanover, New Hampshire and stayed there for two years. Then he moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico and spent four years of his life there. In 1940, Lawren Harris moved to Vancouver, British Columbia and remained there for the rest of his life. Some of his highly acclaimed works have been "Ward", which was painted in 1908, representing the section slum of the city, "Corner Store" in 1912, "Algoma Hill" in 1920, "On Lake Superior" in 1922, "Network Sleigh, "" Winter House "and" Evening Sun "in 1924.

For Lawren Harris, art was the prelude to his visions in the realm of eternal life, which intensified the beauty experience. In 1948, he was named Doctor Honoris Causa by the University of British Columbia and the University of Toronto. His works were also displayed in the Art Gallery of Toronto. In addition, was appointed Companion of the Order of Canada in 1969. In 1970, at the age of 85 years, Harris took his last breath in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Does anyone know where I can buy a CD called Prisoner of Love by Russ Columbo?

It was a recording artist in the 1920s and 30s, one of the early crooners. It is very hard to find CDs with recordings on them so if anyone knows of any other CDs please let me know! Best answer the first person who helps me buy this CD!
